The children have been very busy practising for our Christmas Nativity this week and are getting very excited! We have given some children a different part this week and will sort costumes out on Monday. If your child has a school costume then they won't need to bring a Christmas jumper in.
- This week we have started to learn about Neil Armstrong and why he is famous. The children have been finding out about the sequence of events from when Apollo 11 took off on its mission to the moon. In English we have enjoyed reading the story Man on the Moon and have retold the story both verbally and through writing.
Last week we started our learning about World War 1 and Remembrance. We have been reading the story "Where The Poppies Now Grow," and have considered the feelings of the characters throughout their journey from being boys, to fighting in the war and then as old men.
